No more Astro from Amazon

Let’s start by copying and pasting our official announcement.

“Dear OGPlanet customers,

We regret to inform you all that, starting on March 22, Astro will not be available for purchase on Amazon.
These changes are never easy, but by providing sustainable services, we can concentrate on building better, convenient payment methods for our customers.
For any feedback or suggestion, please visit our blog.”

For those who have been using Amazon to obtain Astro, you might wonder why? why take it down?

The answer is simple. We provide many different ways to purchase Astro as shown on our Get Astro page. To name a few, credit card, Paypal, Skrill, Zong and more.

As every payment method comes with different rates, OGPlanet and Amazon has failed to come to an agreement to provide a sustainable rate for our customers.

We hope you understand our decision. If you have any other service in mind that we should consider, please comment below.

We thank you for your understanding.

  1. Whoops, that didn’t post right.

“If you have any other service in mind that we should consider, please comment below.”

I still think that if there’s any hope of getting the game on Steam, you guys should consider it. I think it would help revitalize the game a lot. That said, I understand if this would be difficult to achieve.

  2. Thank you for your comment, Ryan. That sounds like a plan. In fact, I am aware that our game teams are currently looking into putting our games on Steam. Hopefully, this goes well. We will keep you updated on our blog.

  3. I just decided to return to rumble fighter with *hopefully* some astros, and I bought a $4 gift card for my Amazon account! Is there ANY way I could use that money for astros?

    1. Hello, you should be able to use your gift card to buy Astro through Amazon.(just letting you know we do not have $4 worth of Astro as payment choice) Please try to get Astro by the end of this week.

      1. Typo, I meant $40. Plus, it says that the product is unavailable when I try to purchase it through Amazon, but it isn’t the 22nd yet. Is this an error, and if so, will it be fixed?

      2. Hello Sam, Amazon has shut down Astro purchase, We were not informed of this sudden shut down. We have contacted Amazon but feel that it will remain shut. We are sorry for inconvenience it may have caused you.

  4. Why is it unavailable right now? It says it will start March 22. Planning on purchasing astros through Amazon tomorrow.

  5. Sorry that there will be closure for that method, unfortunately since that was my fastest way of purchasing Astros. It’ll take longer for me to make astro purchases since I have to go back to the Subway method. (Credit Card/PayPal method was always blocked with no valid reason)

  6. I agree with Sheldon, after amazon purchasing came out i was once again able to purchase astros in a convenient way because other ways of payment for my account is apparently also blocked. I have help desked ogplanet many times and they have not given me an answer or a solution to this problem. The only possible way i could purchase astros was through amazon and now i cant do that either.

    1. Hello,

If you are blocked from using credit card or Paypal service, you could look into UGC( Ultimate Game Card ) Not many people know that you can get UGC online.

      Please refer to the link.

I haven’t seen any new payment methods. I’ve only seen methods being taken away. The OGPcard and now Amazon. Are you open to method suggestions?

  8. Yes, Karma Koin’s a good idea. Can you look into Boku? It’s a mobile payment option that should replace OneBip because well first of all, OneBip doesn’t even work with the “supported carriers” and I see people complaining on the forums that it just takes your money and doesn’t give astros.
